Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Pharmacy Intern located in Stratford, NJ. The Pharmacy Intern will assist pharmacists in day-to-day tasks such as dispensing medications, managing inventory, providing customer service, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The intern will also support healthcare services like vaccinations, medication reviews, and patient counseling. This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic pharmacy environment and offers an opportunity to learn about pharmacy operations and patient care.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and principles, including medication dispensing and inventory management
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when necessary
Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy program
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is beneficial
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
