Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Co-Founder (AI/ML & Science Lead). The Co-Founder will be responsible for shaping the product and technology strategy of Devek.ai, leading research and development in applied AI/ML, and building the technical foundation of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the AI/ML strategy for behavioral health signal detection and interpretation.
Build and refine machine learning models (NLP, time-series, multimodal behavioral data).
Lead data science and engineering efforts, including pipelines, evaluation, and deployment.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and researchers to validate scientific rigor.
Ensure security, scalability, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
Contribute to fundraising, investor pitches, and strategic technology partnerships.
Build and manage a high-performance technical team as the company grows.

Qualifications

Strong background in AI/ML, Data Science, or Computational Neuroscience.
Proven experience developing and deploying ML models in production (preferably healthcare).
Expertise in Python/ML frameworks and cloud environments.
Research experience in signal processing, behavioral analytics, or health informatics is highly valued.
Ability to work independently and thrive in an early-stage startup environment.
Strong scientific curiosity combined with product-driven pragmatism.
Previous startup or technical leadership experience is a strong plus.
Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
