Senior Front End Developers - Government, Open-source, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeLS, SQL, API, Cloud base, Hybrid, Newcastle or Leeds
Our client within the public sector is looking for an experienced Senior Front End Developer to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality digital services. You will lead the development of reusable UI components and patterns, ensuring compliance with industry standards and accessibility guidelines. Collaborate with a community of developers to create consistent, efficient solutions that serve a wide range of users across multiple devices and browsers.
Key requirements include significant experience in large-scale Front End development, proficiency with open-source tools and frameworks, and a strong understanding of integrating Front End systems with Back End services in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. You should be a proactive leader with a passion for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key experience includes:
Significant experience in large-scale Front End development for systems with high user loads and complex processes.
Proficiency with open-source tools and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (client and Server Side), TypeScript, and modern Front End frameworks.
Proven ability in delivering comprehensive unit testing using frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
Extensive experience integrating Front End systems with Back End services, databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching tools like Redis, and API microservices within cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
