Role Overview

Position: Biology Professional - Independent Contractor, Remote
Commitment: 10-20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week)
Duration: 1-2 months
Join an exciting collaboration with a top AI research lab. Contribute to developing AI systems replicating real-world workflows in life sciences.

Responsibilities

Evaluate Biology outputs produced by AI systems for quality, accuracy, and alignment with scientific objectives.
Create challenging problems in Biology to stress-test AI reasoning and analysis.
Contribute to data generation and evaluation processes informing the next generation of large language models.
Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance the accuracy and rigor of model outputs.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

PhD in Biology or a directly related field from a top university
2+ years of academic (research, publication, teaching) or professional experience
High attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate degree completed in the U.S., UK, Canada, or Europe

Engagement Details

Competitive hourly rate of $65-85 USD/hr
Weekly bonus incentives ranging from $20-100/hr
Independent contractor
Weekly payment via Stripe Connect
Fully remote and asynchronous -- flexible working hours
