Role: SAP ICMR Configurator

Job Description: The SAP Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation (ICMR) Configurator is responsible for the configuration and optimization of SAP S/4HANA's Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation (ICMR) solution to ensure accurate, automated, and efficient intercompany reconciliation across all company codes and entities. This role is critical for enabling a timely and controlled month-end close process.

Job Responsibilities

Configure matching methods, rules, worklists, reconciliation cases, and tolerances within ICMR to support business requirements.
Define and maintain document selection criteria and data filters to maximize match automation.
Ensure trading partner, company code, and GL master data are set up correctly to enable end-to-end reconciliation.
Collaborate with FI/CO and MDG teams to align master data derivation logic (company, profit center, functional area).
Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing, validate match rates, and refine configuration to improve accuracy.
Support month-end close by monitoring ICMR runs, troubleshooting unmatched items, and resolving configuration issues.
Prepare and deliver user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer for finance and accounting teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline intercompany processes, reduce manual adjustments, and improve reporting transparency.

Job Requirements

Proven hands-on experience implementing and configuring ICMR in SAP S/4HANA for previous projects or customers.
Strong understanding of intercompany business processes (AP/AR, GL, internal billing) and reconciliation best practices.
In-depth knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), ledger setup, and trading partner configuration.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to improve automation and match rates.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with finance users, IT teams, and system integrators.
