Job Title: Principal Systems V&V Engineer

Duration: Full Time

Clearance: SC Clearance or Able to get one

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal V&V Engineer to play a key role in the planning, execution, and reporting of Verification & Validation (V&V) activities, ensuring our hardware and software solutions meet the highest standards of compliance and performance.

You will contribute to the development and support of mission-critical, multi-domain command and control systems--forming the backbone of the modern Royal Navy. At the heart of our mission lies curiosity, dedication, and innovation as we tackle some of the world's most complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Champion best practices in V&V engineering lifecycle activities in line with corporate and industry standards.
Execute V&V tasks in accordance with approved management plans, processes, and quality expectations.
Lead and supervise V&V engineers to ensure successful delivery of defined work packages.
Provide comprehensive support across the project lifecycle, including:
Requirements analysis and V&V input
Compilation and review of estimates, management plans, processes, and metrics
Participation in design and risk reviews
Integration, Acceptance, Demonstration & Test (IADT) activities
Fault/issue investigation and resolution reporting
Progress reporting to meet timescale and quality objectives
Implementation of project security measures for V&V activities
Apply IVVTQA principles across the systems engineering lifecycle to support acceptance and compliance.

What We're Looking For

Degree/HND/HNC in Systems, Software, or Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience (5+ years) in planning and conducting IVVTQA activities within the systems engineering lifecycle.
Proven ability to supervise, coach, and guide junior engineers.
Proficiency with DOORS or equivalent requirements management/test tools.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and deliver effective solutions.
Prior experience applying IVVTQA principles in line with Military, Defence, or Industry standards.
