Join a cutting-edge UK-based tech start-up as an AI Engineer working on mission-critical AI initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national security innovation as an SC Cleared AI Engineer within a fast-paced, tech start-up environment.

The position is embedded in the defence sector, requiring active SC or DV clearance. You'll be working on AI systems that support secure, offline deployment and advanced natural language processing for defence-grade applications.

The Role

Develop and deploy novel AI algorithms for secure environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on defence-grade AI products
Stay ahead of Generative AI and ML trends relevant to national security

Experience Required

SC or DV Clearance
5+ years in AI engineering roles
Proven experience with LLMs in both research and production
Strong NLP and ML background
Python for ML
Full-stack development and system deployment
Cloud experience (preferably AWS)
Degree in Computer Science or related field

This position is urgent and can interview at short notice and start immediately after offer.
