IT Infrastructure Field Engineer / IT Field Engineer / IT Field Technician / IT Field Support Technician/ Data Centre Field Engineer / Data Centre Operations Engineer / Data Centre Technician / Data Centre Operations Technician - With strong experience in cabling, data centre and network switches (Paris)

Our client is a global leading high tech and social media network company:

-Over 7,500 employees across 25+ offices;

-Fast growing;

-Cutting edge AR and VR technologies, 3D printing, etc.

They are looking for an IT infrastructure field engineer to join their brand new Paris office:

-Install and maintain network technologies to help build global offices & Data centres

-Act as the first point of contact for IT infrastructure operational needs

-Provide strong documentation and cross training for IT support

-Manage integration vendors, supply chain distributors, and internet service providers to

resolve issues within agreed SLA's and execute network deployments

-Collaborate with Global Workplace Experience, Security Technology, AV and other build

teams to provide planning, coordination, logistics.

-Create SOPs for ITIE supported hardware

Requirements:

-3 years+ experience working as IT field engineer/infrastructure field engineer;

-Good working knowledge in structured cabling (Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6A), Optical Fiber cable Installation and Data center deployments.

-Good knowledge in various types of network switches.

-Knowledge of power backup systems such as Eaton uninterrupted power supplies.

-Strong Communications and user interaction skills

-Willingness to work non-traditional hours and a modified work schedule.

-Open for traveling to different sites

-Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently

-Fluent English

Initially 14 months full time contract start ASAP till the end of 2026 and will extend yearly afterwards. At least 3 days per week based in the Paris office (plus open to travel). Offer competitive salary plus benefits.
