We are seeking System Engineering Interns for Summer 2026! This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship. We have openings based out of: Costa Mesa, CA & Irvine, CA
What You'll Do
Assist the systems engineer team in building out new products to satisfy customer requirements in new and challenging mission areas
Contribute technical inputs to engineering execution plans
Develop tools to be used in oversight to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers through all phases of program execution up to and including delivery and operation of capabilities on-orbit
Assist in process development for mission and system level trade studies and analysis to balance risk, cost, and performance
Required Qualifications
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.
Must be a rising senior at the time of their internship and returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.
U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technical communication skills, providing the ability to deliver critical technical briefings and conclusions to technical leadership
Strong technical fundamentals in an engineering discipline
Working knowledge of systems engineering principles
Matlab experience
Experience in Linux
