Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Z/OS System Programmer with a strong background in sysprog to join our team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining z/OS operating systems, performing system programming tasks, and ensuring smooth operation of the mainframe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain z/OS operating systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Apply software patches, updates, and fixes.
Support and optimize mainframe performance.
Work with other technical teams to ensure system availability and reliability.

Requirements:

Proven experience with z/OS and system programming (sysprog).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with mainframe tools and utilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
