Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Product Development Engineering to join our innovative team in Milpitas, United States. In this role, you will work on the development of cutting-edge products, driving innovation from concept to market launch.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, and test our proprietary electronic components and systems.
Designing and developing system test methodologies for PCIe/NVMe SSDs towards mass production readiness, beginning from product planning stages to product launch;
Planning and executing product and platform qualification plans, from early prototypes to mass production, identifying and resolving design and manufacturing issues;
Reviewing production test coverage to confirm it meets the manufacturing quality and cost targets for successful launch to production;
Leading debug and failure analysis of SSD from system to component level in production environment;
Working as a critical interface between various functional teams such as Test, Reliability, QA, Firmware, ASIC, NAND Design, Validation, Operations, and Manufacturing teams
Identifying and driving corrective actions, process improvements, error proofing, yield improvement efforts with appropriate functional owners;
Driving DFT techniques and implementing automation solutions where possible

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Programming/scripting skills with python/C/C++
Internships with demonstration of acquired skills a plus
Fundamentals of semiconductor manufacturing, computer architecture, system design and SSDs

Preferred Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
