What We Offer
Competitive compensation: 20% more than your current salary
Full-time role, 60 hours per week
Office-based culture: 5 days onsite in downtown Toronto

What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software development experience
Proven expertise in Java and JavaScript (both front-end and back-end)
Deep knowledge of modern frameworks & tools:
Backend: Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST API development, microservices architecture
Frontend: React (or Angular/Vue), TypeScript, modern ES standards
Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), database optimization, query performance tuning
Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience integrating with APIs, datasets, and real-time systems
Solid foundation in software architecture, design patterns, and security best practices
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Experience with distributed/federated systems or large-scale data platforms is highly valued
Background in real-time data streaming, visualization, or building embeddable components is a plus

Your Role
You'll be working as a core developer on a cutting-edge data and AI-driven platform. This will involve:
Building and scaling both front-end and back-end systems
Developing and optimizing APIs and database integrations
Designing highly scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems
Delivering seamless user interfaces and real-time data features
Working closely with founder to turn ambitious ideas into working products
