Stevenage (Hybrid Working Available) | Contract Role | PS50/hr PAYE + 10% Mark-up

Are you an organised and proactive professional with a passion for engineering and cross-functional collaboration? Join a dynamic team supporting the development and delivery of technical costed proposals for cutting-edge test equipment solutions across development, production, and export programmes.

This role offers the opportunity to work within an international environment, liaising with technical experts and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-cost bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Compile and present technical costed proposals for UK-delivered test solutions.
Liaise with design teams, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to gather bid data.
Manage configuration control and data entry using internal systems (Matrix, JIRA, Primavera - training provided).
Support multi-programme bid delivery, ensuring alignment with schedule and quality targets.
Maintain strong working relationships across hardware, software, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement and promote best practices within the test equipment function.
Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership teams.

Key Performance Indicators

Timely and accurate delivery of multiple bids.
Effective use of internal tools and systems for data management.
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
Balance between short-term delivery and long-term strategic goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience compiling bid data from technical sources into standardised formats.
Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Engineering background or understanding of product lifecycle (concept to support) is beneficial.
Familiarity with Primavera is a plus (training provided).
Flexible to work on-site in Stevenage 2-3 days/week (more during onboarding).
Willingness to travel occasionally to Bolton or Paris (short trips, no French required).

Rate Information

Pay Rate: PS50/hr PAYE
Mark-up: 10%
Bill Rate: PS55/hr
