Are you a seasoned Software Engineer passionate about building scalable data integrations and enhancing customer experiences through innovative tech?
We're seeking a talented Integration Developer to join a leading organization in the healthcare and retail space. This is a 90-day contract-to-hire role with a clear path to full-time, offering competitive compensation (target full-time salary: $125K-$135K) and the flexibility of fully remote work.

Why This Role? You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team (including architects in Gen AI, Solutions, and Integration; Scrum Masters, BAs, QAs, Data Scientists, GCP Devs, CI/CD Devs, and RPA Devs) to drive onshore initiatives. Work on cutting-edge projects involving data pipelines, APIs, and cloud solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Build integration processes for fast APIs and system APIs using Python scripts.
Develop MicroServices leveraging various programming languages and streaming solutions.
Own features from engineering to production support, following best practices like CI/CD, observability, and automated testing.
Design scalable data pipelines for ETL/ELT from diverse sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Implement data validation, quality checks, and MongoDB-based data warehousing/data lake solutions for storage, retrieval, and analysis.
Document processes, workflows, and systems; identify efficiency improvements in data engineering.
Provide guidance to junior engineers, coordinate with product teams for business alignment, and contribute to AI-powered tools and automation.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, Agile ceremonies, and foster innovation and technical excellence.
Required Qualifications (5+ Years Experience):
Proven track record as an Integration/Software Engineer with hands-on expertise in:
Python (or comparable scripting language) for API integrations and data processing.
SQL/NoSQL, including MongoDB for data storage and analysis.
ETL/ELT and building high-volume data pipelines.
Reporting/analytic tools for insights and visualization.
Query optimization, data structures, transformations, metadata/dependency/workload management.
Big Data and cloud architecture, with hands-on building of modern data pipelines on major platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Real-time and streaming technology for efficient data handling.
3-5 years in deployment/scaling apps on containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
3+ years soliciting complex requirements, managing stakeholder relationships, and independently handling deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Python skills with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
AI/fast APIs development and vulnerability scanning/addressing.
GCP expertise for cloud-based data engineering solutions.
Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
Experience with distributed teams across time zones, SAFe/Agile/Waterfall methodologies, API development, complex systems, and data visualization/reporting (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
Leading large technical programs with end-to-end planning; ML/AI experience is a plus.
Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-team work.
