New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company is seeking a Security Architect to support a large public enterprise cybersecurity program. This is a senior consulting engagement with a focus on secure IT design, risk management, and architecture leadership across cloud, network, and application environments.

You'll be joining a dedicated cybersecurity and risk management team based on a long term contract to help strengthen enterprise maturity and modernize critical IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Provide architecture leadership to ensure solutions adhere to enterprise security standards.
Participate in design reviews and collaborate with solution architects and vendors on secure integrations.
Assess current environments, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
Evaluate emerging security technologies and provide recommendations.
Support governance, compliance, and incident/problem management.
Lead modernization efforts, including infrastructure renewals and legacy system retirements.
Deliver advisory services on security risk mitigation and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in solutions architecture and/or IT design.
Experience with the Government of Saskatchewan or comparable public entities.
Ability and commitment to work 100% onsite in Regina, SK starting December 18, 2025.
Strong experience as an IT Architect, leading major subsystems or enterprise-level solutions.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 or similar frameworks.
Background in DevSecOps automation supporting enterprise deployments.
Experience with multiple architecture methodologies and the ability to compare them.
Broad technical expertise across cloud, networking, endpoint, and enterprise technologies.
Certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent are considered an asset.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Formal project management training is an asset.
