C++ Developer (Contract)

We're working with a leading financial services organisation that is expanding its market data capabilities and looking for a hands-on C++ Engineer to join on a contract basis.

What you'll be doing

Onboarding market data feeds
Mapping and validating reference data, addressing quality issues, and ensuring data integrity
Running history backfill projects (around 20 in scope) alongside onboarding ~15 new markets
Collaborating across development and data functions, with exposure to C#, Python, and related workflows

What we're looking for

Solid background in C++ software engineering, ideally within a financial markets or data-driven environment
Experience with market data (from exchanges, hedge funds, or providers) would be a strong plus
Comfortable working with C# and Python in support of C++ (services, tooling, scripts)
Strong analytical mindset, able to interrogate data outputs, spot anomalies, and validate trade classifications
