Summary

The Finance Intern will provide meaningful contributions to the finance organization with an emphasis on both daily tasks and project based work. The intern will get visibility with senior management and have the opportunity to work with other areas of the company in support of their career aspirations. Successful candidates will have advanced Excel and Access skills, excellent communication skills and a desire to learn.

For this opportunity, the expectation is to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week in the Libertyville, IL office.

Responsibilities

Specialized report development and maintenance
Process & procedure documentation support
Perform month-end close processes or daily bank reconciliations
Assist in special projects focusing on automation and compliance
Create reports leveraging SAP, BPC or Banking applications
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university
Have successfully completed a minimum of at least sophomore year of college
Have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
Advanced Excel and Access skills (including scenario modeling)
Analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting
Excellent Communication skills (written and oral)
Self-starter/fast learner
Ability to report to the Libertyville office during the internship (paid housing is not provided)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. The actual salary varies based on applicant's education & skills.
