FKM strives for business excellence and superior execution with the following critical functions:
Managing the loan bidding processes which includes data mapping and ingestion, loan payment history analysis and detailed communication with multiple counterparties.
Efficient loan document review using machine learning and optical character recognition.
Vetting of loans for any issues with lending laws, taxes, or underlying collateral value.
Payment collection, surveillance, and loss mitigation once the loan is purchased.
Securitization of loans into bonds and marketing these assets to institutional investors.
Job Description and Responsibilities
FKM is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing network and firewall logs, implementing security hardening measures, and maintaining high security scores across various platforms. This role also includes auditing identity and network access, managing email security and data loss prevention, and staying up to date with cybersecurity trends. Additionally, the Security Analyst will provide first-level helpdesk support and collaborate with external vendors for advanced support when needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Continuously monitor security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS), to detect and respond to security breaches.
Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Perform regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Recommend and implement security upgrades and improvements to enhance the organization's security posture.
Manage email security and data loss prevention.
Investigate suspicious emails.
Review daily reports for anomalies.
Audit Identity and network access.
Maintain detailed records of security incidents, investigations, and actions taken.
Work closely with other IT professionals and management to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to proactively protect the organization.
Secondary Responsibilities
First level helpdesk support
Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 support
Network, phones, printers, and Remote Desktop support
Work with outside vendors for next level support
Qualifications
FKM seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
Industry certifications a plus - CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) preferred.
Proficiency in security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
Powershell scripting or experience with automating reports and processes.
Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services.
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude, determination, and self-motivation
Adheres to policies consistent with data and identity protection standards
Ability to multitask and prioritize across several open items
Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with the latest security trends and threats.

Compensation
