Working alongside experienced Contracts Managers, Construction Directors, and Foremen, you'll gain hands-on experience while developing the leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills to grow into a future Contracts Manager.

Construction Graduate Role (Trainee Contracts Manager)

As a Construction Graduate, you'll be at the heart of their production team, learning how to manage projects, coordinate site teams, and deliver results on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

With training, mentoring, and support, you'll take on responsibilities that grow as you do.

With Training And Support, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

Project Management & Compliance

Monitor site activities, subcontractors, materials, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
Work with Contracts Managers, Technical teams, and Engineers to ensure drawings and specifications are up to date.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Understand and resolve construction challenges
Ensure projects are delivered to agreed client timeframes.

Reporting & Site Coordination

Attend site meetings and maintain accurate records.
Prepare and update monthly progress reports.
Support the Construction Director in developing site programmes of work.
Manage site logistics, including traffic control, orders, and deliveries.

This role is designed to give you a full grounding in contracts management, with a clear progression path and the opportunity to take ownership of major projects as you develop.

What We're Looking For

You will have completed, or will be part of the way through, an HNC or HND or a Degree in a construction or civil engineering-related discipline.

Full UK driving license.

Strong communication skills and IT proficiency

No direct experience is required--just the drive to learn, grow, and succeed in construction management.
