Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled GoLang Developer to join our dynamic team in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone passionate about backend development, high-performance systems, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Coding & Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust Go applications and services.
Backend Engineering: Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable backend systems.
Performance Optimization: Ensure application responsiveness and efficiency, with a focus on scalability.
Concurrency & Parallelism: Utilize Go's concurrency model (goroutines, channels) to build high-performance solutions.
Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests, and debug issues to ensure high-quality code delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers.
Code Reviews: Participate in peer reviews to uphold code quality and consistency.
Architecture: Contribute to system architecture and design decisions.
Deployment: Deploy applications on cloud infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Essential Skills:

Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) programming.
Solid understanding of concurrency and parallel programming in Go.
Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Competence in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.
Proficiency with databases, including:
Relational: PostgreSQL, MySQL
NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra
