Our client is seeking to hire highly motivated and forward-thinking professionals who are interested in focusing on advanced nuclear reactor research and development and influencing change within the nuclear power landscape and bringing forward the critical production of medical isotopes.
This role ensures the availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical business applications, supports implementation and upgrade projects, and provides advanced technical leadership in application management. You will collaborate closely with plant operations teams, business users, IT teams, and vendors to implement, configure, and support enterprise applications hosted in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
Application Management & Support:
Serve as the primary administrative resource for business applications supporting plant operations, including EAM/ERP and related enterprise systems.
Plan, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise applications in Windows and Linux environments.
Perform regular maintenance, including application patching, plugin updates, and configuration changes.
Provide Tier 2/3 support, investigate and resolve application issues, and mentor junior IT staff.
Integration & Optimization
Support and optimize integration between enterprise systems and platforms such as IoT, GIS, SCADA, financial, and HR systems.
Implement automation for application deployment, configuration, and monitoring to improve reliability and efficiency.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and prevent service degradation.
Compliance & Documentation:
Participate in business continuity planning, disaster recovery testing, and cybersecurity compliance efforts.
Support audits and regulatory compliance (e.g., NQA-1, FERC, NERC, SOX) by ensuring application controls are in place and functioning.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, workflows, integrations, and customizations.
Project Delivery:
Lead or contribute to system lifecycle initiatives, including selection, implementation, upgrades, and retirement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure minimal operational disruption during application deployments and upgrades.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
7+ years of experience managing enterprise or business applications, with at least 5 years administering ERP/EAM platforms in a utility, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environment.
Strong understanding of plant operations and business processes in regulated industries, ideally nuclear or utility sectors.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with ERP/EAM systems such as Oracle, IBM Maximo, Asset Suite.
Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and integration tools (APIs, ETL, middleware).
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL processes.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for enterprise systems.
