Job Description:
Preferred Experience:
* Prior experience working on Genesis Global implementations for trading, risk, or post-trade applications.
* Exposure to low code / hybrid architectures combining Genesis with Java microservices.
* Hands-on experience integrating with broker or exchange FIX gateways.
* Experience with performance tuning and memory optimization for low-latency trading systems.
* Understanding of compliance, audit logging, and entitlement management in trading environments.
* Experience with cloud deployments (AWS / Azure) and containerized microservices.
Your project involves:
* Genesis Global Low-Code Platform -- back-end + orchestration + event-driven UI layer.
* Java / Kotlin microservices -- core trading logic and APIs.
* Microsoft FAST -- front-end web-component framework for building modern, modular UIs.
* FIX connectivity -- order/execution messaging.
* Test automation -- end-to-end validation of UI and trading workflows.
Skills/Tools/Frameworks:
Core Programming: Java (8/11/17+), Kotlin (preferred), Spring Boot / Micronaut, Multithreading, Concurrency, REST APIs.
Genesis Global Platform: Experience developing applications using the Genesis Application Platform (GAP) - GPAL scripting, Data Server, Event Handler, UI Integration, Genesis Marketplace components.
FIX Protocol Development: Experience with FIX 4.x / 5.x message types, FIX Engines (QuickFIX/J, QuickFIX/N, Connamara, or Genesis FIX adapters), order management.
workflows, execution reports, and trade capture.
Web / UI Development: Proficiency with Microsoft FAST, TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Web Components, and responsive design principles.
Test Automation: Genesis testing frameworks, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit/TestNG, Postman / Newman, Cucumber (BDD).
Cloud / DevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins / GitLab CI, Git, Maven / Gradle, SonarQube.
Data & Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL (PostgreSQL / Oracle), and real-time data streaming.
Capital Markets Knowledge: Equities, Fixed Income, FX, or Derivatives workflows; understanding of order types, trade lifecycle, and market data handling.
Methodologies: Agile / Scrum, TDD / BDD, CI/CD automation, Secure SDLC.
