Business Area

BNP Paribas' Global Markets business offers a broad range of products and services in the global interest rates, credit, currency, equities & commodity markets. Global Markets help their franchise of clients find effective ways to raise and invest capital as well as manage their exposure to risk. Their client base comprises of corporations, institutional investors, banks, governments and supranational organizations.

Global technology Platform was created in 2022 in alignment with the Group strategic plan. The team has both a transversal mandate on GM platform management and two Business Mandates: Listed Derivatives Execution & Clearing and FX Prime Brokerage.

In its global role for GM, Technology Platform is supporting the development of Global Markets in collaboration with Business partners (IT, Operations, Compliance, Legal, CCCO, etc.), ensuring its robustness and scalability while maintaining best-in-class services for its clients. This mandate includes e-commerce and Digital teams, Data Office and a Platform strategic oversight.

The Business line is located in all Regions (Europe, US and APAC).

Job Purpose

The purpose will aim to elevate the voice of clients across Global Markets Institutional and Corporate franchises. This role aim to design and implement Global Markets' client experience strategy in coordination with GBLs and Regions. Working closely with Global Markets front office sales as well as our business partners in CIB, Functions and the Group to deliver initiatives to measure, analyse and act upon client feedback, to ultimately foster a client satisfaction culture within Global Markets.

Operates under daily supervision from line management.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting GM Client Experience Strategy:
Deliver best-in-class service by supporting the Global Markets (GM) Client Experience strategy.
Follow ongoing projects closely and provide clear status updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate with key stakeholders and engage them effectively to monitor progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
Prepare and conduct client meetings to understand their needs and address any concerns or requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
Work closely with Operational Client Relationship Managers (OCRM) and other key stakeholders facing clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of the voice of the client.
Analyse client content to derive insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
Risk Management:
Raise attention points or risks that can be foreseen to mitigate potential issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Change Management:
Facilitate and support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or technologies.
Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize disruption and maximize stakeholder buy-in.
Communicate changes effectively to all relevant parties and provide necessary training or support.

Requirements

Skills Required:

Data Analytics:
Strong data analytics skills with potential experience using tools like Tableau, Power BI.
Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Tools:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Capable of creating compelling presentations and performing complex data analysis.
Financial Market Knowledge:
Good knowledge of financial markets and how various financial products work (e.g. bonds, repos, equities, ETF, OTC derivatives).
Understanding of market trends and their impact on client needs.
Good understanding of the market environment especially operations
Communication and Coordination:
Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and clients effectively.
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong analytical skills to identify risks, understand client needs, and provide strategic recommendations.

Profile Requirements

Educational Qualifications:
Minimum 2:1 or equivalent university degree.
Work Experience:
At least a first work experience in investment banking and market businesses either in Sales / Relationship Management or Project Management.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Learning Agility:
Quick at learning new concepts, tools, and processes to adapt to changing project requirements.
Working Under Pressure:
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
