Role:Test Analyst - Logistics
Location:London/Milton Keynes/Sheffield, UK
Work Mode: Permanent - Hybrid - 3 Days/Week (Mandatory)
Description:
Accountability:
Assist in preparation of test plans and scripts and acceptance criteria/definition of done for user stories or requirements.
Candidate must have strong experience in Logistics background.
Maintain high quality and accuracy up to software release.
Analysis of multiple systems for the solution requirements
Prepare test scripts for each software component to demonstrate the business condition under test and anticipated results.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and quality requirements.
Provide feedback to the development team and test lead/manager.
Provide estimates to the test managers for project scheduling where applicable.
Supports scoping and estimation of effort for each user story added to the product backlog.
Work collaboratively with developers to ensure the testability of new features and timely resolution of defects.
Key Skills
Proven track record of testing complex user and system interfaces.
Thorough experience and understanding of structured test methods and processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of manual and some exposure towards automated testing.
Experience of testing Windows Software Applications and Database Applications.
Experience of Cloud specifically GCP (Nifi, Big Query, Dag)
Experience of SIT on multiple networks
Dedication to quality and meticulous approach.
Experience of working with collaboration tools such as ADO and Confluence.
Agile training/qualifications or experience incl. Scrum & Kanban.
Experience of testing Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
Strong data testing skills
Mapping software testing would be advantageous
Qlik reporting testing would also be of benefit
Working in a logistics or similar environment will be necessary
For the STA
Ability to lead the team when needed
Support the test manager/lead during defect triage
