Location: Solihull (work from home 3 days per week)

Salary:

Solutions Architect - up to PS80,000
Senior Solutions Architect - up to PS90,000

Outsource UK is recruiting on behalf of a global Public Services organisation operating on the FM side of their business. We're looking for experienced Solutions Architects and a Senior Solutions Architect to join their team based in Solihull.

Role Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and clients to understand requirements and design secure, effective solutions. You will ensure that project and bid solutions align with the organisation's architectural principles and IT strategy.

You will also mentor and lead Solution Architects, providing guidance on solution design and delivery, ensuring compliance with architectural standards, and helping to shape IT strategy for the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and IT teams to define and design solutions for projects and bids
Produce solution and service designs aligned with business needs and enterprise architecture
Provide leadership and mentoring to Solution Architects, ensuring quality and compliance
Liaise with Enterprise Architects, Technical Leads, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions
Review supplier proposals for alignment with architectural standards and project requirements
Present solution designs and cost models as part of bid and project governance
Translate complex technical solutions into clear explanations for non-technical stakeholders

Skills & Experience

Strong background in at least one of: CRM, complex case management, Telephony, Azure, Cloud technologies, Dynamics, SaaS, RPA/AI, Data Analytics
Experience in government or outsourced IT projects, with knowledge of emerging technologies
Degree in IT or equivalent practical experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of security standards, legislation, and best practices
Experience mentoring or managing other IT professionals
Industry-recognised architectural qualification (e.g., TOGAF) desirable
