QA Analyst - Workday Financials (Automation)
Fully Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst with expertise in Workday Financials and automation testing to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday Financial modules, hands-on experience in automation frameworks, and proven ability to ensure the accuracy, performance, and reliability of financial systems through structured testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Workday Financial applications and integrations.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday Financial modules including Procurement, Expenses, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Workday Extend, Workday Test Automation Framework (WTAF), or similar.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and Workday configuration teams to validate system changes and enhancements.
Participate in test data setup, test environment validation, and issue triage.
Document and track defects and test results using standard QA tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
Support end-to-end testing for integrations between Workday Financials and other enterprise systems.
Provide test reports, dashboards, and QA metrics to project leadership.
Identify opportunities for test automation and process improvement within the QA lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
8+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years testing Workday Financials.
Strong understanding of Workday Financial modules (e.g., Procurement, Accounting, Expenses, Financial Reporting).
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, TestNG, Workday Test Automation Framework, or equivalent).
Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Experience with Workday reporting and EIB integrations.
