Job Title: Salesforce Administrator (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: [Hybrid- 1-2 days a week on-site]

Position Summary
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform. This role partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure Salesforce solutions align with organizational goals, enhance user experience, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Configuration
Perform daily administration, configuration, and support of Salesforce, including user management, reports, dashboards, workflows, and data integrity.
Design and implement flows, validation rules, approval processes, and custom objects to support evolving business needs.
Manage data imports, exports, and updates using Data Loader or other tools.
Maintain system documentation, field maps, and configuration records.
Coordinate sandbox and production environment management.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work with cross-departmental stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions.
Identify and implement improvements within the Salesforce ecosystem to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
Provide end-user training, support, and documentation to promote platform adoption.
Partner with developers, architects, and other administrators on integrations and system enhancements.
Compliance & Security
Ensure Salesforce platform compliance with organizational and industry standards (GDPR, SOX, etc.).
Support governance, security, and change management practices for the Salesforce environment.
Develop and maintain API configurations, gateways, and code repositories.
Additional Responsibilities
Application Support: Maintain and support Salesforce applications, ensuring incidents and service requests are handled according to established procedures.
Software Design: Participate in design and architecture discussions, ensuring solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
Requirements Management: Define and prioritize business and technical requirements for Salesforce initiatives.
Functional Testing: Develop and execute test plans, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
Incident Management: Monitor and manage incident queues; document and analyze issues to prevent reoccurrence.

Experience working within Agile and Waterfall project frameworks.
Knowledge of networking, identity management, and information security concepts.
Proactive in addressing service issues, providing clear updates, and maintaining detailed documentation.
Skilled in Active Directory integration, user management, workflows, and permission sets.
Ability to build and manage DEV environments for testing and performance review.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of Salesforce Administration experience.
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201).
Proven experience with declarative automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
Strong understanding of Salesforce data and security models (Profiles, Roles, Sharing Rules).
Proficiency with reports, dashboards, and data management.
Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Sales Cloud.
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
ITIL v3/4 Certification.
Advanced Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
Experience with integrations (Conga, DocuSign, Outreach, Pardot, MuleSoft).
Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and Agile methodologies.
Basic understanding of Apex, SOQL, and Lightning components.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Working knowledge of GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of security standards (system hardening, MFA, encryption).
Experience with ETL tools and complex, cross-functional projects.
Work Environment
Hybrid role; occasional on-site presence may be required for meetings or key initiatives.
Some on-call support may be required during releases or critical incidents.
