Your Opportunity
Our Toronto office is looking for a New Grad from 2025 to take on the role of a Technical Consultant and join its Strategy, Value Creation & Analytics practice in our Financial Advisory Services team. This role will require knowledge and skills across data analytics, customer engagement & management, and problem understanding and solving. The ideal candidate will be excited to learn new technologies & analytics methodologies and will be willing to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business needs and develop strategies.
As part of the team, you will play a dual role: supporting customer needs while also advancing the organization's journey toward a data-driven culture. You will operate at the unique intersection of business and technology--translating complex business and financial requirements into actionable, data-informed solutions. This role positions you as a bridge between strategic business goals and technical execution, enabling more informed decision-making across both domains.
The following will be the responsibilities of the candidate:
Support stakeholders in transitioning to data-informed decision-making by leveraging analytical tools and effectively communicating practical, insight-driven solutions aligned with their objectives.
Apply business analytics to research, develop, and recommend actionable insights and strategic recommendations for internal and external clients.
Develop a strong understanding of business and financial contexts to effectively align data-driven solutions with organizational needs.
Design and implement data analytics frameworks and tools using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and other visualization or analytics technologies.
Collaborate with clients to define project requirements through interviews and research, and assist in developing detailed timelines and implementation plans.
Contribute to analytics advisory engagements, including the formulation of analytics strategies and the design of business intelligence solutions to enhance decision-making processes.
Build and maintain ETL processes for both structured and unstructured data sources, enabling the extraction of meaningful insights, the development of KPIs/metrics, and the promotion of data-centric decision-making across teams.
Participate in projects involving machine learning and artificial intelligence, translating technical outputs into business-ready tools and processes that are accessible and easy to adopt.
Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders--including business units, clients, and IT teams--to enable and support analytics initiatives across various functional areas.

Your Experience And Education
A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics related fields, or any related field
You have strong analytical skills, accompanied with strong business acumen and interpersonal skills - you will be at the intersection of both financial/business world and technology/analytics
You have 1+ years of experience in Data Science/Business Analytics
You have exposure to financial fundamentals and financial modeling
Motivated to be customer and market facing and driving relationships that lead to future work
Proficiency with Python/R, PowerBI or related visualization tools, SQL and strong MS Excel and MS office skills is paramount
Proficiency with data manipulation through Power Query, Excel, Python/R and SQL will be required
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and propose ideas
