About The Role

Element Materials Technology is seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic global team. This role is integral to supporting the development of our Client Portal, a key component of our e500 digital transformation initiative. As the first dedicated developer on this project, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and deliver customer-facing solutions that will enhance data access and user experience across our international operations. You will work primarily within a modern Azure-based architecture, utilizing the Microsoft technology stack to build scalable, secure, and robust applications. Your contributions will directly impact how our clients interact with laboratory data, providing seamless, efficient, and innovative digital solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into functional code, and ensure the successful deployment of solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components, while adhering to best practices in software engineering. Your work will support both new development initiatives and the maintenance of legacy systems, facilitating smooth transitions during modernization efforts. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for a developer eager to make a tangible impact on our digital transformation journey.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Strong experience in C# and .NET development
Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure services including Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Functions, and Cloud Hosting
Hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, Bicep, and automated testing strategies
Proficiency in database design, SQL, and database migrations
Familiarity with service-oriented architecture and microservices architecture
Experience working with legacy applications and transitioning them to modern platforms
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in decentralized environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs
Implement modern software engineering practices including unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable architecture design
Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective code
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across distributed and cloud-based systems
Produce comprehensive documentation for technical teams and end users
Support and maintain new solutions as well as legacy systems during transition phases
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, tools, and processes within the team
Participate in code reviews and team meetings to ensure quality and best practices
