Summary

The primary goal of this role is to ensure that the GCP environment for the project transitioning to GCP, which focuses on providing central API access to VERTEX and GEMINI models, is securely designed from the start.

Main Responsibilities:

The consultant will play a pivotal role in implementing GCP security measures. Key responsibilities include:

Understand the GCP security implementation of another subsidiary.
Formalize security technical guidelines for the GCP services to be used.
Propose guardrails to be implemented at the GCP organization level.
Identify and work with several GCP services like Organization, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, Cloud KMS, Cloud Router, HA VPN Gateway, GCP Cloud Interconnect, Vertex AI, Model Armor, and Private Service Connect Endpoint.
Ensure compliance with applicable GCP CIS level 1 benchmarks.

Key Requirements:

Expertise in GCP Security.
Significant professional experience in GCP security activities, including cloud security hardening and architecture security review.
Analytical skills to identify security-related problems.
University degree in computer science, information security, systems architecture, or related field.
Ability to collaborate independently.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of security best practices.
Experience recommending solutions relevant to the complexity, scope, risk, and magnitude of problems impacting service levels.

This position will involve working alongside a diverse team focused on transitioning projects to GCP, with a strong emphasis on API accessibility. Various GCP services will be utilized throughout the engagement.
