Senior Software Developer SC cleared (Outside IR35)
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong technical skills, who possesses a valid (SC) Security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop digital solutions aligned with GDS standards
Work effectively in Agile environments
Contribute to product development based on observation, experimentation, and user research
Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams including product managers, UX designers, researchers, developers, and platform engineers
Support continuous improvement through frequent releases
Technical Skills Required:
Experience designing, coding, and debugging Golang-based systems
Proficiency in web front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
Golang, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes
Atlassian tools
Build tools: Maven, Gradle, Ant
Source control systems: Git (branching, merging, etc.)
Testing: TDD, unit testing, JUnit, Mockito, Cypress
Strong knowledge of relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL (data modelling, SQL scripts, stored procedures)
Functional test automation: API testing, UI testing (Cucumber, Nightwatch)
Desirable Skills:
AWS
Experience with BPMN workflow engines (Camunda, Activiti, Flowable)
Experience with front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js
RedHat OpenShift for container orchestration
Familiarity with NCSC's 14 cloud security principles
