ProSync is looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Program Manager to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive information systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and implementing security programs that protect organizational digital and physical assets. This role ensures alignment with corporate initiatives, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. The incumbent collaborates closely with IT, cybersecurity, engineering, legal, and operational teams to achieve program objectives, manage risks, and deliver projects in scope, on time, and within budget.

This position offers a salary in the range of $150k with some flexibility based on numerous factors, including degree and overall experience.

Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Program Manager, you will:

Program Leadership & Strategy

Lead multiple security projects and initiatives across global programs
Develop and manage cybersecurity strategies, programs, policies, and standards
Maintain executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations on program status
Align cybersecurity initiatives with organizational goals and business priorities

Project & Program Management

Create work breakdown structures (WBS), project plans, schedules, and cost estimates
Oversee cross-functional teams across IT, engineering, and security disciplines
Coordinate implementation of new security technologies and process improvements
Identify and mitigate operational and program risks, including vendor and supply chain oversight

Risk & Compliance Management

Conduct risk, vulnerability, and threat assessments
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2)
Participate in internal and external audits; implement corrective measures
Maintain knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and mitigation strategies

Security Operations & Incident Response

Oversee the implementation and operation of security monitoring tools and solutions (SIEM, endpoint security, intrusion detection)
Coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
Develop, test, and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Training & Communication

Lead employee security awareness programs and training initiatives
Communicate cybersecurity policies and requirements to cross-functional teams
Serve as a liaison for external stakeholders, partners, and vendors on security matters

Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong relationships with internal teams, senior leadership, and third-party vendors
Advise leadership on strategic cybersecurity decisions and program improvements

Requirements

Minimum 10 years in cybersecurity, IT security, or program management relevant roles, including prior experience managing complex projects or programs
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (NIST, ISO, SOC 2, GDPR)
Proficiency with security technologies: firewalls, SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, Chronicle), endpoint protection, encryption
An ACTIVE minimum Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. (We are not able to sponsor clearances at this time.)

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, communications systems management, or an equivalent science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) degree from an accredited college or university

Certification Requirements

In lieu of a degree, you must possess a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
