Job Specifications

Our client is looking for a Cloud Engineer - this is a long-term contract opportunity (until mid-2026) based on-site in Luxembourg, offering up to EUR600 per day.
You will a major technology transformation initiative where you'll design scalable cloud-native solutions, automate deployments, and enforce best-in-class security practices across cloud environments.
What you'll be working on:
Architecting scalable, multi-tier applications and integration patterns (sync/async, messaging, API gateway)
Implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and managing DevSecOps practices
Deploying infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation, Ansible) with a focus on idempotency and immutability
Managing containers with Kubernetes (RBAC, scaling, Helm) and Docker
Building and securing AWS environments (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM)
Monitoring, governance and cost optimisation using tools like CloudWatch and Config
Essential:
Proven experience with AWS services and infrastructure design
Strong DevSecOps expertise with GitLab CI/CD
Solid Kubernetes and Docker skills
Background in system/network administration (Linux, DNS, Firewalls)
Nice to have:
Tools like Terraform, Pulumi, GitOps (Argo CD/Flux)
SpringBoot, PostgreSQL, Redis
Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Python Scripting and Azure exposure
