Job Title: Java Developer (Cryptography & Javacard)

Work Mode: Remote

Industry: Financial Services

Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced JavaCard Developer with strong expertise in cryptography and payment domain technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing secure applets, managing cryptographic keys, and working within EMV and Global Platform standards.

Key Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (5+ years)
Strong hands-on application development experience in JavaCard/HCE domain
Expertise in cryptographic algorithms (3DES, AES, RSA, ECC, etc.)
In-depth understanding of Global Platform card content management and key management processes
Experience with EMV Common Personalization Specification and processes

Nice to Have Skills:

Familiarity with Key Management principles and processes
Exposure to Android and iOS development, particularly in payment processing
Experience in multi-threaded programming
Knowledge of enterprise-grade mobile app development
Prior experience in product-based companies
Strong organizational and collaboration skills
Exposure to Agile development environments
