Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: New York, NY

Salary: up to $250k + equity

About the Team:

A small but ambitious startup building developer tooling products around generative AI. The focus is on creating real tools that developers use, not just demos. They move quickly, experiment a lot, and care deeply about good design and solid engineering.

About the Role:

Looking for a full stack engineer who's comfortable taking ownership of projects from idea to launch. You'll work closely with the founders to ship new features, help shape product direction, and improve the technical foundation as we scale.

What You'll Be Doing:

Build and ship features across the stack
Work on everything from database design to frontend polish
Integrate AI models and optimize performance around them
Improve the developer experience, tooling, and internal systems
Collaborate directly with design and product to bring ideas to life
Help define engineering standards and best practices as we grow

What We're Looking For:

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
4+ years of experience building and shipping web products
Strong background in React/Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
Familiarity with Python, Postgres, and cloud services like AWS or Vercel
Solid understanding of APIs, data modeling, and system design
Someone who enjoys fast-paced environments and isn't afraid to figure things out on the fly
Curiosity about AI and how it can be used to make creative, useful products

Nice to Have:

Experience working with generative AI APIs or similar tools
A background in building consumer apps or creative tools
Interest in early-stage startup culture and product ownership
