Position: AI Tutor - Chemical Engineering Specialist

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $45-$100/hour

Location: Remote or Palo Alto, CA

Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Use proprietary software to provide precise annotations and labeled data for chemical engineering projects.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, curated datasets that drive model development and accuracy.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and train new AI tasks.
Contribute to the development of efficient annotation tools and processes.
Identify and analyze complex engineering problems to enhance AI model understanding.
Interpret and execute evolving task instructions with precision and adaptability.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong command of both informal and professional English.
Proven ability to conduct research using scientific databases.
Exceptional attention to detail and independent judgment.
Demonstrated passion for technological innovation in engineering or AI.

Preferred

PhD in Chemical Engineering.
Professional experience applying chemical engineering principles.
Published research in reputable scientific journals.
Previous experience as an AI tutor, technical writer, or educator.
Background in technical writing or journalism.
