About The Job

We are looking to strengthen our IT Application team! As an IT Application Xprt, you are the main point of contact for our colleagues whenever they have questions or issues with internal applications. You provide first- and second-line support, track issues carefully, and ensure that our systems run optimally for over 2,750 employees worldwide. In this entry-level role, you will receive guidance from experienced analysts and gradually grow into a fully-fledged analyst position.

Your Role

You learn our applications and enjoy exploring new functionalities.
You are the point of contact for end-users and assist them with their questions.
You keep manuals and short instructional videos up to date and help build a clear FAQ.
You log bugs and error reports and pass them on to the analysts.
You test scenarios for new releases and report your findings.
You support the analysts with their operational tasks and report directly to the project manager.

Profile

You communicate fluently and politely in both Dutch and English.
You are comfortable with computer programs and quickly learn to use new applications.
You work in a structured way and follow up on issues thoroughly until they are resolved.
You are eager to learn and enjoy growing in your role.
You gain energy from helping others and can explain things clearly.

About The Company

Pollet Group has operations in 17 countries and is active in 3 segments: the water treatment sector, the swimming pool industry and the medical industry. Pollet Water Group combines 30 companies active in water treatment. Pollet Pool Group covers the pool builder market with 9 distribution companies and 2 manufacturers. Pollet Medical Group consists of 6 medical oriented companies. Together the group has about 2000 employees. Our IT department provides worldwide support to all companies of the Pollet Group. This includes also the implementation of the new ERP-software (MS Dynamics 365 F&SCM), a new CRM (MS Dynamics CRM), the set-up of mobile applications, specific customized software, etc. The Pollet IT team has a total of about 30 employees, operates from Bissegem and Waregem and joins forces in the IT organization.
