As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll help shape AI into a core capability of the platform--working with LLMs, agent frameworks like MCP and A2A, and building solutions that actually ship.
Your responsibilities will include:
Design and develop agentic AI use cases by integrating technologies such as LLMs, LangChain, and vector databases into the core software platform
Apply and extend protocols like MCP and A2A to enable context-rich, multi-agent interactions within enterprise workflows
Deliver production-grade AI solutions that meet SOFICO's standards for performance, reliability, and security
Build solutions that respect enterprise constraints by developing guardrails for authentication, data governance, and information security
Help define SOFICO's AI development lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment, monitoring, and feedback loops
Lead by example in code quality, systems design, and best practices for responsible AI development

What else is expected:
Proven experience with AI/ML engineering, delivering and maintaining AI features in production (real-world deployment, testing and monitoring)
Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face), LangChain, vector databases, and MLOps tools
Proficient in cloud-native development, especially on Azure
Familiarity with enterprise integration, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure API design
Understanding of MCP, A2A, or similar agent-based AI protocols is a strong plus
Prior experience with leveraging data for predictive modelling, what-if scenario analysis, and business intelligence is a plus
Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus
