Job Specifications

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to backfill a key onshore resource for a fixed-fee project with Chevron. This role requires strong expertise in Ansible, Azure cloud solutions, and infrastructure automation, with hands-on skills to design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance platforms. You will be responsible for enabling CI/CD, provisioning infrastructure, managing observability, and supporting MLOps pipelines for AI/vision models.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement platform solutions leveraging Azure cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance automation, deployment, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability.
Manage provisioning of infrastructure using Ansible playbooks, Terraform, and ARM templates.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues using observability metrics and tools.
Contribute to architecture discussions and guide technical decisions aligned with business goals.
Support production environments, ensuring high availability, proactive maintenance, and incident response.
Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for automated deployment of AI/vision models to edge environments.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Technical Profile

Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Extensive experience with Azure cloud solutions: IaaS, PaaS services, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, APIs.
Proficiency with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA).
Solid understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, and infrastructure design.
Knowledge of Terraform and ARM templates for infrastructure automation.
Experience in MLOps for deploying ML/AI models to production and edge systems.

Functional Profile

Strong collaboration skills with software development teams and client stakeholders.
Capable of influencing architecture and design decisions to align with business objectives.
Experience ensuring system performance, monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting.
Ability to work onsite with a high degree of independence and accountability.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $60.79/hour - $94.99/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
