Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm. We refer top candidates to our partners working with the world's leading AI research labs to help build and train cutting-edge AI models.

Position: Engineering Expert (PhD)

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $70-$90/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 1-2 months

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities: (Training support will be provided)

Collaborate with top AI researchers from leading AI labs to work on advanced engineering tasks.
Assess AI-generated solutions for technical accuracy, rigor, and domain relevance.
Provide clear and actionable written feedback on problem sets, designs, and solutions.
Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and research team to ensure all deadlines are met.

Requirements:

PhD in Chemical Engineering.
Strong professional experience of academic or professional experience (researcher, engineer, or technical specialist).
Deep expertise across one or more engineering subdomains.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
