Security Solution Architect - CISO Division
Hybrid - 8 days per month on-site in London, Brussels, Paris, or Amsterdam
Initial 12-month contract (extendable)
We're looking for a highly experienced Security Solution Architect to join the Security Solution Architecture squad within the CISO division of a leading global financial market infrastructure provider.
This squad plays a pivotal role in embedding security architecture best practices across IT initiatives, ensuring that end-to-end solutions meet functional, non-functional, security, and resilience requirements while aligning with enterprise architecture standards. What You'll Do
Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end architecture solutions for cross-division IT initiatives and security domains.
Act as the linking pin between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and target architectures.
Contribute to the development of Solution Architecture practices, building reusable patterns and reference architectures.
Collaborate with CISO product owners and IT engineers to solution product requirements and services.
Support capability target architectures & roadmaps, participate in communities of practice, and share best practices across divisions.
Provide mentoring and guidance to other architects and delivery teams. What We're Looking For
10+ years' experience in IT, with a proven track record of reporting to senior management.
Experience as a Security or Enterprise Solution Architect on large-scale transformation programs.
Expertise in Cyber Security architecture and risk frameworks (SABSA, ISO 27001, NIST).
Experience designing and deploying mission-critical transactional systems in complex organizations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to influence at senior levels.
Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures, TOGAF, SAFE, and agile operating models is a plus.
Financial services experience is advantageous.
Must be proficient in English. Key Details
Contract: 12 months (extendable)
On-site requirement: 8 days per month (including occasional days in Brussels)
Locations: Belgium, France, Netherlands, or the UK
