Senior Penetration Tester/Offensive Security Specialist
Location: Brussels - Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days WFH)
Duration: 12 months (with up to 3 extensions - up to 4 years)

This is a *Brussels*based role with an excellent immediate start within a GlobalConsulting companyworking on *running and managing vulnerability scanning tools and interpreting results*.
About the role
We're hiring a senior offensive security specialist to proactively test and improve the security of critical systems. You'll run vulnerability scans and penetration tests (web, cloud, infra), perform code reviews, and work closely with detection and response teams to strengthen security across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Perform manual and automated penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
Run and manage vulnerability scanning tools and interpret results.
Conduct code reviews and cloud infrastructure testing (AWS/Azure).
Develop custom scripts/tools for advanced testing.
Lead purple-team exercises with defensive teams to improve detection.
Write clear technical reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor junior security staff and contribute to security policies and procedures.
What we're looking for
Strong hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability management and ethical hacking.
Experience with tools such as Nessus/Tenable, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap.
Solid knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with threat actor TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK.
Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and present to senior stakeholders.
Excellent team player, comfortable in multinational environments.
English fluency (C1+). Discretion and integrity required.
Nice-to-have
Experience leading purple-team exercises.
Experience with compliance frameworks relevant to financial institutions.
Experience with custom tooling/exploit development.
