Job Title: Okta Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Okta Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Okta implementation and support, including MFA, SSO, application integrations, and identity lifecycle management. This role will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of secure identity solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support Okta-based identity solutions including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management.
Integrate cloud and on-premises applications using OAuth, SAML, and REST APIs.
Manage identity provisioning and governance using tools such as Okta and Saviynt.
Develop and maintain scripts and automation for identity workflows (e.g., Postman, PowerShell, Python).
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and development teams in an Agile environment.
Support initiatives around Zero Trust, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and compliance frameworks.
Provide troubleshooting and technical support for IAM-related incidents and requests.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience with Okta and associated features (SSO, MFA, App Integration).
Strong knowledge of IDaaS, IDM, IGA, and OAuth.
Hands-on experience with SAML and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Proficiency in scripting tools such as PowerShell and Postman.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, and CSF.
Experience with RBAC implementation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Knowledge of REST APIs, network/infrastructure concepts, and Python scripting.
Experience with Saviynt or other IGA platforms.
