Our client a well known Insurance Agency is seeking a a Cloud Project Manager in their Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Location!

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term cloud strategies aligned with business objectives, including migration and innovation roadmaps.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide cloud operations teams to achieve technical excellence and operational efficiency.
Automation: Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform or CloudFormation to enhance automation and consistency.
Security & Compliance: Enforce robust security protocols and ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2.
Monitoring & Incident Management: Maintain 24/7 system availability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and rapid incident response.
Performance Optimization: Continuously improve application performance to achieve low latency and high availability.
Cost Optimization: Track and analyze cloud spending to identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource efficiency.
Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure and operational capabilities.
Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align cloud operations with overall business goals.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with AWS and third-party vendors to optimize service delivery and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing AWS environments and leading cloud operations teams.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
Tools: Skilled in Jira and Excel (pivot tables, graphs, VLOOKUPs).
Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer certifications preferred.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; confident and professional presence.
