The Terumo EMEA Supply Chain department groups SC Planning, the European Distribution Centre as well as EMEA Customer Service building a cross-functional, end-to-end global partnership.

Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our supply chain operations through advanced data analytics and the development of Microsoft Power BI dashboards. You will streamline and automate business processes using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps and collaborate with our IT department to explore AI and data analytics solutions.

You will support the transformation of our supply chain operations through advanced data analytics and the creation of Microsoft Power BI dashboards, process automation, cost modelling and business case development.

Job Responsibilities

Data Analytics and Reporting
Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to extract valuable insights from our supply chain data.
Create and maintain robust data models and data visualizations to improve decision-making.
Develop and manage Power BI dashboards for real-time, interactive reporting on supply chain performance and KPIs.
Establish comprehensive KPI measurement systems to monitor and assess supply chain performance.
Continuously analyse, evaluate and refine KPIs to align with organizational goals and objectives.
Implement data quality and governance best practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Data Integration
Work with various teams to streamline and integrate data sources e.g. SAP EWM, BI, Excel, etc..., ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Collaborate with IT business analysts to design and implement data integration solutions.
Cost Modelling
Develop a comprehensive cost model that accounts for all aspects of the supply chain, enabling accurate cost analysis and forecasting.
Business Case Development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for business case development.
Create data-driven business cases that justify supply chain improvement projects and initiatives.
AI and Data Analytics Exploration
Partner with the IT department to explore AI and data analytics solutions that can enhance supply chain operations.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
Streamline and Automate Business Processes
Enhance productivity and create customs applications using Microsoft Power Automate and Power apps, significantly boosting human efficiency by automating repetitive tasks.
Environmental, health and safety improvement
Establish comprehensive KPI measurement systems to monitor and report on supply chain sustainability performance in collaboration with EHS department.
General
Effectively communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Influence stakeholders to make data-driven decisions based on insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with supply chain teams and IT teams to foster a data-driven culture.
Bachelor in Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analytics, including data modelling, statistical analysis, data visualization and design thinking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI.
Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps knowledge.
Python is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset in the rapidly evolving field of data analytics and AI.
Fluent English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
Occassional travel to EDC In Genk.
