We have a fantastic opportunity to join the ClearScore Home Lending team as a Risk and Compliance Analyst, reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance/DPO.

We are looking for a confident self-starter who can join the Risk and Compliance team and help ensure our customers receive good customer outcomes. Attention to detail and good analytical skills are paramount for the role, alongside the ability to use your own initiative and work under pressure.

You will be part a very successful team within the ClearScore Group with a clear strategy for success and growth

What you will be doing:

Engage with the wider business and provide support with Compliance queries and reviews
Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies
Assist with the running of the Risk Management programme at ClearScore, supporting a culture of risk management, including controls awareness and adoption.
Assist with training of employees on applicable regulations
Identify and investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
Report to the business on current risk and compliance performance
Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation
Review marketing materials (including financial promotions) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Assist in administration of our relationship with regulators
Perform various general administrative duties (such as policy writing and process monitoring)
Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance
Provide data privacy support to all business areas, including international locations
Keep up to date with, and understand, relevant laws and regulations
Working with all business units to ensure ClearScore remains compliant with all appropriate regulations.

Skills We'd Love You To Have

Previous experience in financial services in a risk and compliance assurance role.
Experience in designing and delivering risk assurance/compliance monitoring plans and reviews.
Positive, constructive approach to assurance testing with emphasis on delivering good customer outcomes.
Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels across the business.
Ability to challenge business stakeholders objectively and effectively.
Effective communication skills.
Experience in a changing business environment, with a passion for delivering excellence and continuous improvement.
