Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire Sr Application Support Analyst for a long-term opportunity at Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position).

Details:

Title: Sr Application Support Analyst

Long term Contract

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid 4 days onsite/week)

Client: Banking/Financial

Must have:

10+ years of experience in IT. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial industry.
Prior in-depth experience in implementing and supporting large-scale production systems.
Knowledge of Fixed Income Trading activities (Pricing, Contributions & STP), Market Data Feeds and knowledge of applications such as Murex, Bloomberg and other Derivative risk systems is highly desirable.
Strong experience on Linux, Windows, SQL Server and Application monitoring tools (ITRS Geneos and Job Scheduler (CTRL-M).
Analyze existing FICC Derivative systems and liaise with Business/Development team for system improvement.
Strong knowledge of FICC Structured Derivative Products and ability to work with Front office Business users.

Nice-to-have:

Knowledge in scripting e.g. using Python and experience of supporting MQ, EMS, SOLACE and RV/RMDS.
Understanding of ITIL processes.
Knowledge of Devops and Cloud technologies.
Prior experience of leading Global Support team with onsite – offshore experience.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence Reporting tools (Tableau etc.).
