Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Director or Events, the Events Associate will be responsible for supporting the events strategy and promotional activities pertaining to our Commercial and Image activities including all retail network animations inclusive of Directly Owned Stores and Wholesale Partners, High-End events, as well as Brand Image events. The candidate must have proven experience to handle multiple projects simultaneously and should be comfortable and successful in a fast-paced environment.

and Responsibilities:

•Collaborate amongst Events team to arrange all pre-event logistics for North American retail and Brand Image events including but not limited to invitation production and mailings, creating client bios, selecting and coordinating catering, décor, photographers, audio visual, venue research, entertainment and more.

•Coordinate the planning and execution of large-scale strategic initiatives to include High Jewelry Events, Brand Image Events, Exhibitions & Pop-Ups. Travel to provide on-site event support when required.

• Track individual event budgets in collaboration with Special Events & HE Manager along with Commercial Events Manager to ensure events’ budgets are appropriately monitored and adhered to, including processing invoices, PO creation, new vendor set-up, monthly reclasses & accruals

•Contribute to various ad hoc projects in support of client engagement to meet the needs of the business.

•Produce comprehensive event recaps for distribution via executive reports, internal use and provision to Central HQ. Event recaps to include notable metrics and analytics, monthly event summary reports and photo presentations. Review these events for effectiveness & provide ROI analysis.

•Liaise with external event vendors, internal teams and other key stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure successful execution cross-functionally.

•Work alongside PR/Marketing team on execution of all events related tasks and projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1-2 years’ experience in an Events or Event Marketing role, preferably in the Luxury Goods industry

• Ability to travel domestically up to 10%

• BA/BS or equivalent

• Role will based out of the NYC office, however at times the position may require remote work from home or when traveling

•Creativity & Organization: Proven success in coordinating events with ability to adhere to and follow brand standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across all initiatives. Creative problem solver and a self-starter.

•Industry News/Trends and Know-How: Informed on the latest trends and industry standards.

•Excellent Communication Skills: Effective writer and clear communicator. Ability to work effectively with all company levels from senior management to outside partners and support staff
