Sigma Defense is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, and Networking to fill a new position in a growing team. We work to bring modern software practices to development and production environments in the Department of Defense.

Requirements

2-5 years of relevant experience
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Helm, and Flux
CKAS/CKAD is preferred
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Personnel Clearance Level:

Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study
Degree may be substituted for comparable additional industry experience and/or industry accepted training and certification.

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):

This position will be remote for 6 months and then will transition to a Hybrid role with 2/3 days on site weekly
Work on a team to create Infrastructure as Code to manage ingress into our environment
Work on a team to develop pipelines and processes that implement containerized RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes

Salary Range: $110,000 - $149,000 annually.
