Job Specifications

Harrington Starr are supporting a global financial services organisation to help them hire a Security Operations Manager to manage a hybrid in-house/ outsourced function. The role will involve providing both technical and strategic leadership.

Key accountabilities involve:

Working with the CISO to help evolve the Sec Ops function
Management of an in-house team and the outsourced provider
Acting as the central POC\ escalation point for all major cyber incidents
Collaborating with other cyber functions – GRC, architecture and engineering
Working with stakeholders across the business – technical and non-technical
Vendor management – including staying abreast of the latest tools
A good knowledge of the current and evolving threat landscape

You will need:

A good background in Security Operations\ Incident Response in a managerial or lead role
Strong technical knowledge
Demonstrable stakeholder management experience
A technical background in infrastructure, security engineering or penetration testing preferred
